Filing with KIPO
The application is officially filed with KIPO based on finalized claims, and real-time status reports are provided via email.
Examination & Accelerated Examination
Examination is conducted upon request (typically taking ~1.5 years). Accelerated examination yields prompt decisions within ~3 months. We advise the most cost-effective timeline.
Notice of Grounds for Rejection & Response
If an office action is issued, our specialized attorneys draft robust arguments and claim amendments to overcome all rejection grounds effectively.
Notice of Allowance & Registration
Upon resolving all rejection grounds, KIPO issues a Notice of Allowance. Payment of registration fees secures enforceable exclusive patent rights.
